Before Testifying FBI Director Comey Release His Prepared Statements. Upon Reading Trump Declares He Feels "Totally Vindicated"... Wha??

Former FBI Director James Comey is set to testify in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee investigating the ties between Donald Trump's campaign ties to Russia today.

Before the actual testimony Comey released a copy of the prepared statements he will be giving before the actual hearing begins.

The statements, while damning to say the least, reveal nothing overtly criminal that could send Donald Trump immediately to jail.

Once this became clear Trump’s newly acquired outside counsel Marc Kasowitz issued a statement about Comey’s opening remarks stating that Trump felt "vindicated" following the release...

“The President is pleased that Mr. Comey has finally publicly confirmed his private reports that the President was not under investigation in any Russian probe. The president feels completely and totally vindicated. He is eager to continue to move forward with his agenda.

It dawned on me that this was tantamount to a man standing in front of a firing squad only minutes before "ready, aim, fire" is yelled stating...

"Hey, I feel great!"

Would you like a blindfold Mr. Trump?... Oh I see you are already wearing one.
